German Neo-rococo Jardiniere
Silver, 935 g, gilded inside. Pierced, boat-shape bowl with pierced, rocaille-decorated rim edge, cast and chased handles on two sides: winged Cupid riding a stylized dolphin and holding a bay wreath. Embossed, punched and chased rococo flower decorations with scrolls among them on surface of serving plate, replaced brass inset inside.German, late 19th century Marked: Heilbronn, Bruckmann & Söhne, metal fineness mark 800, Pest import mark from between 1872-1902.
