German Historical Dessert Basket
Silver 423 g. Oval shape, bellied bowl on pierced base, cylindrical adornments on rims. Embossed and cast eagle heads are holding a ring on both sides of the basket. Sawn, embossed and punched winged putts are holding a cartouche between rocailles motifs on its mantel. Stem restored, glass inlay is missing. Signed: Hanau, late 19th century and after 1902 Pest import mark. Size: 23 × 12 × 16.5 cm
