Második kiadás. A négy kötet összesen 132 kézzel színezett kőnyomatú táblát tartalmaz, melyen közel kétezer éjjeli lepkefaj látható. Minden tábla előtt védő hártyapapír. Néhány levél enyhén rozsdafoltos (foxing).
Egységes, kiadói, álbordás, gerincén díszesen aranyozott lepke-motívumokkal illusztrált sötétzöld félmaroquin kötésben, aranyozott lapszélekkel. Nagyon szép példány.
