Gulyástól merített információk szerint a fordító, Horvát Henrik, középiskolai tanár, a Petőfi Társaság külső tagja volt, több jeles magyar író remekművét fordította németre! Felesége, Medgyaszay Vilma színésznő volt, akinek zongorakísérőjeként időnként fellépett. Ez utóbbit azonban egyetlen színházi, színészeti lexikon - sem régi, sem újabb kiadású - nem említi meg!
