“Szalay Józsefnek: Könnyes könyvem nézem, nézem, – / ötvenig a könny se szégyen... / ötvenen túl? csordogáljon, / csak belőle vers ne váljon!” (To József Szalay: I look at my tearful book, I look at it, – / until fifty, tears are no shame... / over fifty? Let them flow, / just don't let them turn into poetry!)
