Mitterpacher legjelentősebb alkotása e háromkötetes mezőgazdaságtana, amely nemcsak a hazai agrártudományok, hanem az állat- és növénytan nézőpontjából is értékes munka. Latin nyelvű szövege ellenére nagyszámú magyar és német fajnevet, szakkifejezést közöl, és figyelembe veszi kora tudományának a tárgyra vonatkozó teljes nemzetközi irodalmát. Ezen vonatkozásain kívül figyelmet érdemel még a második kötet borászattal foglalkozó része, amely többek között a tokaji borokról is közöl ismereteket.
A három kötet egységes korabeli papírkötésben, megkímélt állapotban. A kötetek lapjai körülvágatlanok. A kötetek gerince kissé kopott, ettől eltekintve jó példány.
