Munkások Újsága, 1848. április 2-án indult, mintegy két héttel az első, Márczius után. Szerkesztője Táncsics Mihály volt. A radikális és liberális orgánumokétól eltérő irányzatot képviselt, így országszerte, az egyre szélesebb körben jelentkező paraszti elégedetlenségnek lett a szócsöve. Ezt a jól sikerült cikket Táncsics, mint különlenyomatot személyesen is osztogatta. A belügyminisztérium Kazinczy Gábor beadványára eljárást indított a „rendbontó és féktelenségre ingerlő czikkek” ellen. A lap 26. utolsó száma 1848 december végén jelent meg, Mészáros Lázár betiltatta. Picit viseltes állapotban, hátul megerősítve.
