Az első előzéken dedikált: „à mon ami Lacko en souvenir de mois sejour à Budapest affectueusement A. Maurois.” [Lackó barátomnak egy hónapos budapesti tartózkodásom emlékére, szeretettel A. Maurois]. A dedikáció címzettje Badics László, Badics Ferenc (1854–1939) irodalomtörténész egyik fia volt.
Korabeli, díszesen aranyozott gerincű, enyhén kopott félbőr kötésben, jó példány.
