Full description

Pest, 1849. (Lukács László ny.) 268p.
Complete second year of the radical periodical. During the Austrian occupation of Pest, editor Albert Pálffy moved with the government to Debrecen, while a more moderate continuation appeared in Pest under József Gaál. After the liberation of Pest in spring 1849, Pálffy returned and resumed editorship, ending the dual publication. This collection contains the Pest issues.
Later half leather. Spine richly gilt.
