Augsburg, 1756-1758. Johann Georg Hertel. 1 t. (rézmetszetű címkép) + XXXVIII + 272 p. + 45 t. (kihajtható rézmetszet); 19 p. („Zugabe”). The frontispiece engraved was made by E. Eichel based on the drawing of G. Eichler. The 45 folding copper engravings depict geometrical figures, copper engraving views or life scenes beneath them made by Cochin and Chedel. It is probably the first German edition of the work. Contemporary, ornate, richly gilt leather binding, gilt page edges.
