A rézmetszetű és fametszetű könyvillusztráció négyszáz éves története. Oldalszámozáson belül 263 illusztrációval, melyből 49 egész oldalas. A kötéstáblán található címfelirat egy korábbi kiadás képszámára (mit 259 Abbildungen) utal, a klisét az új kiadásnál nem javították.
Poss.: Ex libris Andreae Borbás.
Kiadói, díszesen aranyozott gerincű félbőr kötésben, az első kötéstáblán arannyal nyomott címfelirattal és fametszetű illusztrációval, felül aranyozott lapszélekkel. Szép példány.
