KOSSUTH Lajos (1802-1894) államférfi, kormányzó-elnök időskori képe.
Kabinetfotó, fényképésze Giuseppe Ambrosetti, 1883. Képméret: 95x150 mm, kartonméret: 109x151 mm, albumin. A fotográfus nyomtatott kartonján a jobb alsó részen a fotót terjesztő cég „Calderoni és Társa Budapest” benyomott szárazbélyegzője. Verzóján a fényképész cégére, kitüntetéseinek felsorolása, valamint kézzel írt, tintával kitöltött sorszám, („Richiamare il No 35168”) mely vélhetően az összes, általa készített fotó sorszámát jelöli.
Bár az idők során kissé halványodott a kép (a hívási technika természetes velejárója,) állapota, leszámítva némi enyhe kopást a felületen, szinte kifogástalan.
