Kalliwoda is known for his pictorialist photographs – many made on trips through Western and Southern Europe – carried out in bromoil, pigment and gum print processes. He was member of the ”Wiener Photo-Club” in Vienna, and the ”Club der Amateurphotographen” in Graz. His images have been published in numerous photo journals of the 1910s including the important ”Photographische Rundschau” and ”Kamera-Kunst". Further artists and styles: Pictorialism, Fine Art Printing, bromoil prints, gum prints, Heinrich Kühn, Constant Puyo, Alfred Stieglitz, Leonard Misonne, Rudolf Sulke
