- - autográf tanulmánya A nemzet legnagyobb halottja címmel. A kétoldalas írás Kossuth Lajos halálára (1894. márc. 20) írt nekrológ: a nemzet fájdalmát zokogja el, mely imáit csak egy oltáron mondhatja el: „Kossuth sírjának márványlapján, széles kőlépcsőjén… Félszázadig volt vezére Kossuth a nemzetnek” és most félmillió ember búcsúzik tőle koporsója elött, térdre borulva.
