S. l. „July 21 1859” (valószínűleg idegen kéz írása. 2 beírt oldal, fekete tintával. 180x110 mm – Német nyelven írt baráti levél egy pontosan meg nem nevezett „tisztelt Asszonyomnak”, Joachimnak a korai Brahmshoz hasonló kézírásával.
Nagy valószínűséggel egy angliai körútról származó levél: „[…] Mit schönstem Dank für Ihre Erlaubnis zu wählen, entscheide ich mich für den Montag-Abend. Kommt etwa auch Hallé und wünschen Sie daß wir dann musizierten, so hoffe ich auf ein Wörtchen Nachricht damit ich meine Reisegefährtin mitbringe. Die Verlobung habe ich mit theilnehmender Freude vernommen […]”
Az említett Charles Hallé zongoraművész, tanár és karmester 1848-tól kezdve tartózkodott Angliában.
