A régi Tabán. Rézkarc. Jelzett. M: 39 x 29 cm. Id. Imre István (1918 - 1983) festő, grafikus. 1935-ben Krizsán János és Mikola András tanítványa volt a nagybányai szabadiskolában. 1936-41 között a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán folytatta képzését, mesterei: Réti István, Elekfy Jenő és Szőnyi István. 1940-től kiállító művész. Történelmi képei után inkább az akvarellnél és a rézkarcnál állapodott meg. Portrék, tájképek, figurális kompozíciók kerültek ki kezei közül.
