A dedikáció címzettje a kiváló közgazdász, Vágó József – József Attila szerelmének, Vágó Mártának az apja – akinek József Attila az 1929 februárjában megjelent verseskötetét, a „Nincsen apám se anyám”-at ajánlotta.
