Gold-plated bronze, 5 cm diameter, in original presentation box.Commemorative medal of Pope Paul II."Even a muddy paddle can make miracles if it reflects the face of Jesus" (Archiald)Nearly twenty years ago on 19th August 1991 the Győr Ballet Ensemble, paying respect and reverence to His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, exhibited its powerful new mystery-play, "Legend of St Margaret" in Nepstadion for an audience of eighty thousand. To express His gratitude, the Pope, who visited Hungary for the first time, awarded The Győr Ballet a commemorative medal after the performance. The Győr Ballet offers to auction this precious, unique medal to help with the total amount the Juhasz family in Kolontar, who lost their child in the red sludge spill.
