Huszty István (1710-72 után) ügyvéd, jogakadémiai tanár, Heves, Ung és Külső-Szolnok vármegyék főtáblabírája volt. Magánjogi tankönyvét a nagyszombati egyetem jogi karán is használták. Fél évszázad alatt ötször adták ki. Az igazságszolgáltatási gyakorlatot összefoglaló kézikönyvként is széles körben forgatták. Hatással volt a magyarországi jogi szaknyelv fejlődésére, mintaként szolgált a későbbi jogi íróknak.
Korabeli, gerincén díszesen aranyozott, bordázott egészbőr-kötésben, körben festett lapszéllel. Jó példány.
