Korabeli viseltes papaíkötésben, a gerinc hiányzik. Horváth Keresztély János (1732-1799) jezsuita rendi szerzetes, matematikus, egyetemi tanár. Teológiát, illetve természettant és mechanikát tanított Nagysombaton, majd Budán. Kiváló pedagógiai tehetségét tükrözik matematikai, fizikai és mechanikai tankönyvei, melyeknek külföldi kiadásai is ezt bizonyítják.
