Herend Decorative Jug
Color painted porcelain with tin tilting lid. Boccale shape, hussars are defending a castle between Hungarian motifs on its mantel. Coat of arms delineation on tin lid and label: "Honorarium of Hungarian Dinner Competition of restaurateurs” and on finger rest with crowned Hungarian coat of arms. Tiny damages on mouth rim. Signed on the bottom: pressed Herend and under glaze blue painted brand mark and over glaze blue painted Dreher Malt Hungary 1935. Herend, 1930s. Height: 29.5 cm
