Helmet mask with horns
19th century, height 150 cm, width 27.5 cm, wood with natural dark brown patina The mask features consist of a long rectangular and strongly geometrical face with protruding forehead, two eye holes divided by a central comb and a pair of horns. On the face there are remains of the original probably white and dark brown or black polychromy in a pattern of a triangular row. The left cheek is repaired with tin covered by polychromy from the top of the erect head to slightly bent horns, though the left one is patched with a cuff.
