Hell Miksa selmecbányai matematikus, csillagász, Mária Terézia
egyik kedvenc természettudósa, aki még a nyelvtudományok hazai
fejlődéséhez is hozzájárult, hisz Sajnovics Jánossal együtt utazott
az északi sarkkörön túlra, ahol a finn–magyar nyelvrokonságot
igazoló felfedezése született.
Korabeli dúsan aranyozott gerincű egészbőr kötésben, kissé kopottas állapotban.
