„My Colour Structure series deal with the issue of object based painting. The colourfields running over the edges of the painting accentuate its object-like nature, while the locked-in structural element focuses on the optical interactions of the colours. Both imaging elements use the tools and manners of abstract painting (such as colourfields and lines), but the contrast between them poses questions regarding our perception of reality and space.”
