Troppau, Brünn, Wien (1-10. köt. Troppau, 11-79. köt. Brünn, 80-kötettől Wien), 1785-1794. Traßler, Schrämbl. 71 db. 170 mm.
Az Általános világtörténelmet William Guthrie és John Gray írta meg, A general history of the world, from the creation to the present time címmel. A kötetenként mintegy 7-800 oldalas monumentális művet németre Christian Gottlob Heyne fordította le. A világ teremtésétől, V. Károly német-római császár uralkodása végéig (1556-ig) terjedő időszakot dolgozta fel a 91. kötetig.
Sorozatunkból hiányzik: 3, 35, 47-58, 60-62, 72-74 és a 91. utáni kötetek 92-98. kötet.
Possessor bejegyzés: Dan. Kaszonyi, Wienna, 1806. (Kászoni család, lásd. Nagy Iván 6. kötet 121. l.) E tulajdonosi bejegyzésnek némileg ellentmond az összes kötet gerincére nyomtatott superexlibris: V. A. (Sajnos a nevet az OSZK: Ritka és különleges kötések c. tanulmányában nem oldotta fel.)
Korabeli, egységes, aranyozott gerincű félbőr-kötésben, piros és zöld gerincvignettákkal, pirosra festett lapszélekkel, megkímélt, jó állapotú sorozat, nagyon ritka!
