Christian Gottfried Gruner (1744–1815) orvos, polihisztor, botanikus, kémikus. A német orvostörténelem élharcosa volt a maga korában De morbo Gallico Scriptores Medici et Historici című művével, melynek címképmetszete magát a szerzőt ábrázolja a weimari herceg udvari tanácsosaként. A Jenai Egyetemen az elméleti orvostudomány és a botanika professzora volt. Korabeli papírkötésben, kissé kopottas állapotban.
