Joseph Grew (1880-1965) amerikai karrierdiplomata, a II. Világháború idején tokiói követ. Pearl Harbor után a japán hatóságok 9 hónapra internálták, majd hazaengedték. 1945-ben tagja volt az atombomba ledobásáról döntő elnöki bizottságnak.
