Biblia papirosra nyomtatott luxus-kiadásváltozat. A kötet elejébe helyezve a szerző 1871. november 28-án, Münchenben kelt négysoros autográf levele.
Gyűjteményes kiadás Ferdinand Gregorovius (1821–1891) világhírű német ókortörténész műveiből. Gregorovius porosz származású történész 30 éven keresztül élt Itáliában, az első német, aki elnyerte Róma díszpolgári címét, sőt utcát is neveztek el róla.
Kiadói, aranyozott gerincű, vörös egészmaroquin kötésben (P. A. Demeter, Hellerau), gerincén aranyozott, zöld címvignettával, a kötéstáblákon aranyozott lénia-kerettel, felül aranyozott lapszélekkel, eredeti, bőrrel szegett kartontokban. Dekoratív, gyönyörű példány.
