Hecht und W. Krauskopf . München, (1876.) Stroefer's Kunstverlag. 158 l. 1 lev. 13 t. (acélmetszetek). Keretléces lapokon, szövegközti illusztrációkkal gazdagon illusztrálva. Nagy folio. M: 37,5 x 50 cm. Dúsan aranyozott, festett, díszes kiadói egészbőr-kötésben, körben arany élmetszéssel. A képeket Liezen-Mayer Sándor (1839-1898) festő és illusztrátor készítette. Bécsben a képzőművészeti akadémián Karl von Blaas volt a mestere. Első kiállítása 1857-ben volt Pesten. Ezután Münchenbe ment. A müncheni akadémián tanult, majd hamarosan az előkelő körök népszerű festőművésze lett. 1876-ban nagy sikert aratott Münchenben a Faust-ciklusával. Liezen-Mayer Stuttgartban és Münchenben több magyar festőnek (pl. Kelety Gusztávnak), valamint német festőnek (pl. Gebhard Fugel, Michael Zeno Diemer, Otto Greiner, Max Bernuth) is a mestere volt. Az illusztrált mű első kiadása. Szép példány.
