A beautiful and very rare composite folio atlas containing 56 maps and views from the atlas Mercurio Geografico Overo (1685) of Giacomo Giovanni de Rossi (active 1674-1690) and from the 12 town views in the Teatro della Guerra contro il Turco (1687) also published by him. Rossi made the maps after Sanson and Cantelli da Vignola, all of them are contemporary border coloured.
