Gerhard Cervenka is an Austrian artist who lives in the Mariahilf district of Vienna. From 1969 to 1972 Cervenka studied at the Vienna Art School with Gerda Matejka-Felden and Fritz Martinz. In 1986 and 1988 he took part in the “Michelangelo” and “Interakt 2” symposiums at the Vienna University of Applied Arts. From 1991 to 1994 he was involved in the Graz Summer Academy with Paul Rotterdam. Awards, scholarships: 1984 3rd prize in “Artists painting and drawing in companies”, 1984 Theodor Körner sponsorship prize, 1991 1st prize from the Fondatione Sinaide Ghi, Rome. Gerhard Cervenka is a member of the IG Bildende Kunst, Vienna, and head of the children's art workshop of the Kinderfreunde Mariahilf.

PLEASE NOTE:
The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographs 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium.
The buyer's premium amounts to 28% in case of differential taxation. The sales tax is included in the differential taxation.
