In a slightly worn out leather binding made by Thomas Krüger (fl. cca 1560-1590) Protestant bookbinder of Wittenberg, on the binding with the figures of Martin Luther ('L. M.') and Philipp Melanchthon ('D.(?) M.') and with the coats-of-arms of Wittenberg, the Electorate of Saxony and those of Luther and Melanchthon.
