Franck [Bálint], Valentin(us) [jun.] - Origines Nationum & praecipue Saxonicae in Transylvania, cum nonnullis aliis Observationibus, ad ejusdem jura spectantibus, e ruderibus privilegiorum & historiarum erutae.
Helmstadt, 1697. Apud Georg. Wolfgang. Hammium Acad. Typogr. [4] + 28 p. Essay by Franck based on the works of Laurentius Töppelt: Origines et occasus and Johannes Tröster: Das alt und Neu-Teutsche Dacia. It seeks clarification in the debate about the origins of the Saxons in Transylvania. It denies both the theory of the Saxons originating from the Goths, or having been settled in by Carl the Great. It reinforces the fact that the Saxons are not aboriginals in Transylvania but were settled in by Géza II. Stitched, without cover.
