A magyar domonkos rendtartomány története. Ferrariust 1636-ban bízták meg a török terjeszkedés és a reformáció miatt megszűnt magyar tartomány újjászervezésével.A kötet végén levő „Appendix”-ben Ágoston zágrábi püspök életéről, a domonkos vértanúkról szóló leírás és az index található. Az Isaac Maron által metszett címlapon - mely kötetünkben másolattal pótolt - hat boldoggá avatott magyar rendtag képe látható: Pál, a magyar rendtartomány alapítója, Ágoston, Ilona, Bánffy Buzád, Csáki Mór és IV. Béla lánya, Margit. Ritka, magyar vonatkozású forrásmunka. Apponyi 830.
