Mattanovich Béla (1907-1984), a Népsport újságíró-szerkesztője részére dedikált!
Feleki László (1909– 1989) író, sportújságíró, humorista. Bár a londoni győzelem a Népsport főszerkesztőjét e humoreszk megírására ösztönözte, röviddel könyve megjelenése után, a berni döntő elvesztéskor, bűnbaknak kiáltották ki, és Sebes (Scharenpeck) Gusztáv nyomására eltávolították a sportlap éléről. (1996-tól a Magyar Sportújságírók Szövetsége a kiemelkedő sportújságírói teljesítmények elismerésére, évente, Feleki László-díjat adományoz.)
Kiadói, rajzos papírkötésben. A borító, a régi Wembley grafikájával, Toncz Tibor munkája.
