Luther, Karlstadt és Calvin életrajzának rövid, kritikus, polémikus hangon írt első kiadása, amelyben Laing a reformátorokat mint eretnekeket átkozza. Teljes példánya igen ritka. A British Libraryban található 4 példányból 3 hiányos, a Cambridge Libraryban őrzött példányból a Stuart Máriának szóló ajánlás hiányzik. Dúsan aranyozott gerincű korabeli egészbőr kötésben, a táblákon aranyozott, vaknyomásos superexlibris. Megkímélt állapotú példány.
