Cup with Coins from Transylvania
Silver, 323 g, vermeil inside and on the base and rim. Round base, hexagonal body with shaped sides. Coins on the surface: archduke Lipot thaler (1621.), Kaiser Lipot I thaler (1696.), Czar Peter II rubel (1729.) and on the bottom there is a christening coin - Paul Walther, Drezda (1635-1644). Regence motifs on the rim and over the base. Engraved initials of the owner: B E . Marked: Brasov, 1730, Andreas Mauthner (doubled on the rim) Kőszeghy: 257th variant. Size: 13.5 cm
