Deák-Ébner Lajos (1850 - 1934): Münchenben tanult 1868-tól 1873-ig. Ezután Párizsba ment, nyaranta Barbizonban dolgozott. August von Pettenkofen hívására 1884-ben a szolnoki művésztelepre látogatott. 1887-től Budapesten a Női Festészeti Iskola igazgatója lett. Életképeket, történelmi témájú műveket festett, s dekoratív stílusának köszönhetően több fontos murális mű (a tihanyi apátság, a Műcsarnok falképei) elkészítésével is megbízták." - Forrás: kieselbach.hu."
