Az énekesnő 1967-ben aratta legnagyobb sikerét a Puppet On A String ("Marionettbábu") című dalával, amellyel megnyerte az az Egyesült Királyság első Eurovíziós győzelmét, a verseny történetének egyik legnagyobb különbségével. A Bécsben megrendezett nemzetközi versenyen emlékezetes módon mezítláb adta elő dalát. A dal első helyezett lett a brit slágerlistán, és körülbelül négymillió darabot adtak el belőle világszerte. A korszak idolja volt.
