Cziráky Antal Mózes (1772–1852) császári és királyi kamarás, országbíró, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia alapító majd igazgató, valamint az első magyar jogászegyesület alapító tagja. A magyar magánjog történetét tárgyaló munkája egyetlen kiadásban látott napvilágot. Példányunk előzéklapján régi ceruzás bejegyzések.
Korabeli, díszes, dúsan aranyozott, bordázott gerincű, enyhén kopott, festett piros egészpergamen kötésben, aranyozott lapszélekkel. Az igen dekoratív kötés ismeretlen, nagy valószínűséggel pécsi könyvkötő jellegzetes munkája. Szép példány.
