Cavallo (1749 Nápoly – 1809 London) könyve a legfontosabb
munkájának német fordítása: ez korának az elektromosságról szerzett
ismereteinek legrészletesebb, legalaposabb és rézmetszetekkel
illusztrált összefoglalása. A szerző már 29 éves korában az angol
Királyi Társaság tagja volt. A mű függelékében az elektromosság
orvosi alkalmazásáról is beszámol (önállóan Essay on the theory and
practice of medical electricity címmel).
A két kötet egységes korabeli dúsan aranyozott gerincű félbőr kötésben.
Megkímélt állapotú, szép példány.
