Paris, 1822. Chez Verdiére, Libraire. 2 sztl. lev. 659 p. + 2 lap, korabeli kézírással. Első kiadás. Francois-Sulpice Beudant (1787–1850) személyét a magyar földtan művelői mindig megkülönböztetett tisztelettel övezték. Ez a francia geológus alkotta meg a történelmi Magyarország első földtani térképét, amihez egy igen részletes földtani leírást is mellékelt. Munkájáért 1833-ban a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia tagjai közé választotta. A mű 3 kötetben teljes és tartozik hozzá egy atlasz kötet. Későbbi, aranyozott gerincű félbőr-kötésben, szép példány.
