Berendi Ferenc fotóriporter és fotóművész. 1924-ben Csehszlovákiába költözött családjával, ahol a pozsonyi felsőfokú képzőművészeti iskolában végzett tanulmányaival. 1945 tavaszán tért vissza Magyarországra, ahol 30 éven keresztül a Szabad Föld fotóriportereként dolgozott.
