He received the Hausner Promotion Prize in 1979, the Akademiefreundepreis in 1983 and the Theodor Körner Prize in 1984. Fellin's study trips took him to Asia, Africa and Central America and influenced the subject matter of his paintings. His pictures were shown in Vienna, Innsbruck, Kiel, Munich, Tokyo, Bangkok, Mexico, and elsewhere. Works by Benedetto Fellin can be found, in addition to numerous private collections, at Belvedere in Vienna, at Ferdinandeum Innsbruck and at the Reinhold Messner Museum 'MMM', South Tyrol. In Fellin's figurative painting, the viewer encounters seemingly fantastic worlds in which the peculiarities of people, cultures and landscapes are contextualized in a realistic painting style. Fellin lives and works in Vienna and Hungary.PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights.
