Basilides Barna (1903 - 1967): "Tanulmányait az Országos Magyar Iparművészeti Iskola grafikai osztályában kezdte 1920-ban, míg a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán 1925-ben szerzett diplomát, s még ebben az évben olaszországi tanulmányútra ment. Ekkor jött létre a Spirituális Művészek Társasága is, melynek alapító tagja volt. A KÉVE kiállításain 1929-től vett részt. 1940-1941-ben a római Collegium Hungaricum ösztöndíjasa volt és művészeti vezetője a "Műbarát" kiállítóhelynek."
