Disszertációját a szerző Jósika Jánosnak ajánlotta, ekkor kerülhetett a Jósika-család tulajdonába. Az Ex libris nem pontosítja a Jósikák közül semelyik családtagot (a keresztnevet a nyomtatásban kihagyott helyre utólag pecsételték be), de tudjuk, hogy báró Jósika Sámuel jeles könyvgyűjtő volt, és rendelkezett személyes Ex librissel is. Amennyiben így volt, úgy ez az Ex libris még a korábbiak közül való, amelyen csupán a család megnevezése volt fontos.

Korabeli, díszes, dúsan aranyozott vörös egészmaroquin kötésben, a kötéstáblákon díszes, aranyozott ornamentikus kerettel, aranyozott lapszélekkel. Dekoratív, gyönyörű példány, rendkívül ritka könyv.
