Prov.: branyicskai báró Jósika Miklós (1794–1865) író, újságíró, a magyar romantikus regény megteremtője [Hétágú koronás bárói címeres bélyegzés a címlapon.]
Díszes, dúsan aranyozott, álbordás, sötétzöld korabeli egészmaroquin kötésben. A táblákat aranyozott lénia és vaknyomással készített, növényi ornamensekből álló keret övezi, melyben levél és virág csúcsdíszű, íves és egyenes vonalakból álló keret látható. A táblák éleit sávozott aranyozás, a metszést poncolás és aranyozás ékesíti. Rendkívül dekoratív, gyönyörű példány báró Jósika Miklós egykori könyvtárából.
