Balzac: A házasság fiziológiája című könyvének első kiadása 1829-ben, ez a kiadás is még életében (1799-1850) jelent meg.
"E művében idézi Napóleon szavait, aki a róla elnevezett Polgári Törvénykönyv vitája során ezt mondta: „A házasság nem a természetben gyökerezik…ezért éppúgy fejlődhet – fokozatosan – mint minden más emberi dolog.”
Korabeli egészvászon kötésben, gerincén kis sérülés.
