Az előcímlapon Kner Albert saját kezű ajándékozó sorai: „Je deviens vieux en apprenant toujours. 24 décembre 1929. Kner Albert.” A francia nyelvű idézet: „Megöregedtem és még mindig tanulok”, eredetileg Szolón válasza volt egy Mimnermosz költeményre, amelyet később Rousseau is gyakran idézett.
Kner Erzsébet szignált, díszesen aranyozott, álbordás gerincű, vörös egészmaroquin kötésében, körül aranymetszéssel, eredeti, bőrrel szegett kartontokban. Gyönyörű példány.
