Második kiadás! Amesius, Wilhelm (1576, Ipswich - 1633, Rotterdam): angol születésű, de élete java részében Németalföldön működő puritán teológus, a kálvinista ortodoxia képviselője. A hágai angol helyőrség lelkésze, majd 1619-től Leidenben volt tanulmányi felügyelő, 1622-től Franeker egyetemén a rendszeres teológia professzora. Jelen műve 1630-ban jelent meg, de a jelentős érdeklődés miatt 1631-ben Janssonius szebb kivitelben újra kiadta.
Korabeli pergamen kötésben, címlapján régi tulajdonosi névbejegyzéssel, jó állapotban.
